Over the years, Las Vegas has been a prime destination for the hottest celebrity couples to get hitched without all the pomp and circumstance of a typical Hollywood wedding. Some of the most famous couples in the industry have opted for an Elvis impersonator over a destination wedding.
Usher and his long-time girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea tied the knot in Las Vegas in February 2024 after five years of dating. Us Weekly confirmed that the couple had tied the knot before the R&B artist performed the halftime show at Super Bowl LVIII.
While a Las Vegas wedding may start with the best of intentions, not all were meant to last. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, for example, were married by an Elvis impersonator at the Chapel L’Amour inside A Little White Wedding Chapel after the Billboard Music Awards in May 2019. The Jonas Brothers musician and the Game of Thrones star split in September 2023, filing for divorce after four years of marriage. (The exes finalized their divorce in September 2024.)
