Two days after a representative for Justin Bieber denied his rumored drug use, the singer shared a video of himself rapping about being “high.”

Taking to Instagram in the late hours of Tuesday, February 25, Justin, 30, was seen staring wide-eyed into the camera as he mouthed the lyrics, “I fly high like a magpie / I go high like I’m that guy,” and swayed to the track.

The “What Do You Mean?” musician, who was accompanied in the clip by a friend who smokes a cigarette while bopping his head into the camera himself, was captured shirtless and carrying a bag of snacks. The video appeared to have been filmed during a celebration as shimmery gold bunting was seen hanging in the background of the room.

The post landed just two days after a representative for Justin told TMZ on Sunday, February 23, that rumors about the musician using drugs are “absolutely not true,” labeling the speculation “exhausting and pitiful” and adding that talk over Justin’s mental health, “shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

Justin Bieber’s Rep Addresses ‘Harmful’ Rumors Singer Is Using Drugs

The video posted by Justin, who is married to Hailey Bieber, attracted mixed reactions from Instagram fans. Some expressed a desire for new music from Justin while others wrote of their concern. “This is not the Justin we want,” one user wrote, while another commented, “I’ll be praying for your healing.” (Justin and Hailey, who tied the knot in 2018, share six-month-old son Jack Blues.)

A source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month that Justin is “happier than he’s been in a long time” despite raising eyebrows with his behavior and recent outings. “There’s no breakdown,” the insider added, noting that the pop star “just really doesn’t care what people think.”

Justin sparked initial concern in January when fans noticed he was no longer following Hailey, 28, on Instagram. The Rhode founder, however, was still following Justin. (The couple have been married since 2018.)

As word of the alleged social media activity got out, Justin set the record straight via his Instagram Story. “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he claimed at the time. “S— is getting suss out here.”

Hailey Bieber Is Trying to Be as ‘Supportive as Possible’ for Justin Bieber

In the weeks since, Justin was spotted out and about in sweats, and was also spotted leaving a spa shirtless. “He’s just being himself and won’t create a squeaky clean image just because the public wants him to,” the source told Us this month.

Justin was spotted enjoying himself while taking part in a charity hockey game benefiting victims of the California wildfires on Sunday, February 23. During the Skate For L.A. Strong game at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, Justin playfully pulled the jersey over the head of NHL Hall of Famer Jeremy Roenick during the second period of the game.

During an in-game interview, Justin was asked by a reporter what the event meant to him, to which Justin responded, “This is everything. We’re just looking to have a good time and show that when we come together, good things can happen.”
