As a first-time mom in her third trimester, I have just one question for all the seasoned parents out there: Umm, why is baby stuff so expensive?! While I know new humans don’t need much to survive during those first few months (and, thankfully, I’ve been talked out of splurging on some seriously pricey non-essentials), the items I do need have been adding up — which is why I’m extra grateful for Amazon’s Baby Sale, happening now through the end of February.

After stalking — err, browsing — the site, I’ve found discounts on a bunch of my registry must-haves, from bottles to strollers to tech items my mom friends all swear by. I know I’m not alone when it comes to shopping for a baby or toddler, so whether you’ve got a little one at home, are expecting one soon or need a baby shower gift for a friend or family member, check out this list of deals you won’t want to pass up.

These Flared Maternity Leggings Are Perfect for Petites — And They’re Currently on Sale

22 Best Baby Items on Sale at Amazon

1. A Pregnancy Pillow: My sleep hasn’t been the best as of late, but I know it would be even worse without a pregnancy pillow. Personally, I’ve tried a few options and prefer one that fully wraps around the body, allowing me to elevate my legs. — was $38, now $27!

2. A Bottle Warmer: A new mom I know mentioned how useful a bottle warmer has been during these first few months. This Grownsy pick gets glowing reviews, with parents praising the fast-warming and 24-hour settings, the latter of which lets you keep the bottle in there so it’s ready to go at the next feeding. — was $50, now $36!

3. A Wearable Breast Pump: Essentially undetectable under a bra or top, this Momcozy pump is a fan favorite due to the fact that it’s quiet and has 15 different suction levels. — was $340, now $230!

4. A Baby Monitor: Sure, the Nanit is an investment, but you can’t put a price on peace of mind! This bundle — which is now 20% off! — comes complete with a camera and a band to monitor breathing, allowing you to track sleep, feeding, cries and more. Plus, the insights are easily accessible from your phone. — was $400, now $320!

5. Baby Bottles: I know babies can be particular about things like bottles, but Tommee Tippee’s Natural Start Grow set comes with 13 different pieces, including multiple bottle sizes and nipple options. On top of that, it’s BPA-free, has a 4.7-star rating and costs just $20 right now. I’m willing to take my chances! — was $25, now $20!

6. A Swing: So many parents swear by a baby swing, and according to thousands of glowing reviews, this Graco option is the ultimate buy. “If anyone ever tells you that you don’t need a swing, they’re wrong,” one customer wrote. “We can hold, feed, rock, change. . . anything and she will not calm down. But whenever we put her in the swing, she’s immediately quiet. Make sure to have a D battery handy for the vibrate function. It’s a must-have to pair with the calming effect of the swing.” — was $120, now $96!

7. Nose and Ear Cleaner: Even though I’m giving birth in the spring, I want to be prepped for that first stuffy nose once the colder weather comes back around. This tiny tool can be used to clear boogers and ear wax without causing discomfort — and it’s under $10! — was $10, now $7!

8. Newborn Care Essentials: I actually use Honest products on myself, so while my baby can take the diapers and the diaper cream included in this kit, he’ll be sharing the lotion and wipes with mom! — was $60, now $48!

9. Burp Cloths: 12 burp cloths seems like a lot at first, but I’m told you can never, ever, ever have enough. Looks like I’ll be stocking up while this muslin set is under $15! — was $16, now $14!

10. Black and White Toys: Kuango’s soft, crinkly, high-contrast book will no doubt come in handy during tummy time, but I love that the included block can clip onto a stroller or carrier for entertainment (and brain development) on the go. — was $14, now $13!

11. A Stroller: The amount of stroller options out there is a bit overwhelming, but Baby Trend’s EZ Ride Travel System appears to check all the boxes. It includes an infant car seat, plenty of storage, folds without a fuss and is easy to maneuver. The 16,000 5-star reviews also have me sold (well, that and the under-$200 price tag). — was $170, now $140!

12. A Nail Trimmer: Amazon customers say this electric file is easy to use and fairly quiet — perfect for getting those (surprisingly sharp) baby nails under control. — was $18, now $15!

13. A Pack n Play: When an essential baby item costs $100 or less, I can’t help but feel skeptical, but parents clearly love this portable playpen, which includes extras like a bassinet and changing table. “We really love the multi-function,” one reviewer wrote. “The organizer is very helpful — we can put diapers, wet wipes, baby bottom cream, massage oil into it and it’s easy to find. It’s quite comfortable, hope the baby will love it!” — was $170, now $100!

14. A Noise Machine: White noise can be soothing for some babies, but I’ve learned that not all of them like it. This little Momcozy noise machine allows you to choose between 34 different sleep sounds, including lullabies and nature, while also doubling as a nightlight. You’re even able to control it from your phone, where you can adjust the volume and brightness and customize the color. — was $40, now $36!

Celebrities Like Jenna Dewan and Ashley Tisdale Adore Elegant Baby — Shop the Elevated, Giftable Brand at Nordstrom

15. A Diaper Bag: Sadly, a designer diaper bag is not in the cards for me, but Pillani’s $35 backpack should work just as well. Not only is it made of quality, waterproof material, it also includes three insulated pockets (16 pockets altogether!) and a portable changing pad. — was $56, now $37!

16: A Diaper Pail: My main concern when shopping for a diaper pail is odor control. This pick has a spot for an air freshener and even seals the bags to keep the smell contained. — was $74, now $60!

17. A Car Seat Mirror: Shatterproof, crash tested, able to rotate 360 degrees — there’s so much to love about Shynerk’s Baby Car Mirror. Reviewers note that it’s also easy to install, so you’ll have no problem keeping an eye on that rear-facing little one. — was $26, now $17!

18. A Play Mat: Am I allowed to call a play mat stylish? Because this one sure is! I love the leaf design and the fact that the activity gym is removable, allowing you to use the cushion on its own. — was $70, now $56!

19. Bibs: If you have or know a baby who is over 10 months old, run to buy them this 3-pack of silicone bibs. Designed to catch food and liquids, they also include adjustable neck straps. . .  and the pack costs less than $10 right now! — was $12, now $9!

20. A Mattress Protector: It may be hard to believe, but Biloban’s mattress protector is 100% waterproof and extremely absorbent. One happy customer notes that it’s especially handy when potty training a toddler. “She had a full-on accident in her bed, leaving her soaked in her clothes, and her mattress was COMPLETELY dry!!” they wrote. “This is the best investment because now I don’t have to scrub her mattress every time.” — was $15, now $12!

21. A Teething Toy: The description for this teething toy calls it a “baby shower essential” and I couldn’t agree more. It slips right over baby’s hand so they can easily put it in their mouth (even if they’re not technically teething yet) and the giraffe design is super cute. — was $10, now $8!

22: A Swaddle: While many babies prefer to have their arms wrapped tight and close to their body, I know a little one who absolutely hates it — something I’ve kept in mind while shopping for a swaddle. This moisture-wicking option from Ollie can be worn multiple ways, so once you find your baby’s preference, you’ll be able to accommodate them — and, hopefully, keep them comfy and calm through the night! — was $69, now $53!
