Quiet weather persists in Maine through the weekend. A warming trend this weekend into next week will then bring some of the warmest temps we’ve seen in over a month.
Thursday will feature plenty of clouds. Highs will be in the upper 20s to around 30 for the afternoon.
Clouds will stick around through Friday morning. They will then clear out for the afternoon with sunny skies and highs once again near 30 degrees.
Temperatures will tick up a bit for the start of the weekend. Saturday will have a cold start near zero, but by the afternoon we will see sunny skies and highs right around the freezing mark.
Sunday will bring us our first widespread above freezing temps in over a week. Highs will be around 35 for the afternoon with more clouds than sun.
Monday will be similar to Sunday in terms of temperatures and conditions with lots of clouds and highs in the mid-30s. A rain or snow shower couldn’t be ruled out.
Our next widespread precipitation chance moves in for Tuesday. It looks like we’ll see light amounts of rain and snow. Temperatures may reach 40 degrees in many areas for the first time in well over a month.
Wednesday looks to be the warmest day in the forecast with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the lower 40s.
