UPDATE 2/14/24 at 9:07 a.m. ET — The Jonas Brothers will celebrate their 20th anniversary alongside their fans.
Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas announced on Friday, February 14, that they will headline a JonasCon on March 23.
Per an Instagram statement, the event will be held at New Jersey’s American Dream Mall with live performances, Q&A panels, retail takeovers and other themed activations.

There’s no need to panic, Jonas Brothers fans.
Despite initially stoking fears that the trio were breaking up, an open letter to fans posted via social media assured that “the best is yet to come.”
“To our incredible fans, as a family, we have been reflecting a lot lately,” read the post, shared on Wednesday, February 12. “It’s been 20 years since we started this journey together. To us, it feels like just yesterday we were loading up our family mini-van with a couple of guitars and copies of It’s About Time CDs, en route to an afternoon performance at a local to play for anyone who would listen.”
It’s About Time was the debut studio album for brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, released in 2006.

“We were chasing our dream to play music and connect with others in a deep way that only music can provide,” they added. “We were teenagers then.. actually, Nick wasn’t even old enough to get into a PG-13 movie.”
The siblings gushed that their fans have “given us a thousand lifetimes of incredible memories,” adding, “We wake up each day filled with gratitude that you’ve been on this 20-year journey with us. Together, we have celebrated wins, made mistakes, overcome obstacles, and grieved losses. Put simply: we’ve all grown up together.”
It’s understandable for fans to have read the first few paragraphs and been nervous for what was to come in the rest of the letter. The group previously took a hiatus in 2011 as the brothers focused on their solo careers. They reunited in 2019, releasing their single “Sucker,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“STOP I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE ANOTHER BREAKUP,” read an all-caps reply to the post that has received more than 46,000 “likes.”
“Guys not the jumpscare,” another commenter said.

Their fears were soon assuaged as the brothers continued to express their gratitude for two decades in the business.
“It’s seemingly impossible to put our appreciation into words. None of this would have been possible without you. You’ve shown up for us. Rooted for us. Encouraged us. And inspired us. We’ve made memories with you at shows, bumped into you on the street, run into you at airports, and read your amazing stories on socials,” the trio wrote. “We treasure our connection with you as much today as we did when we played our first show. We are celebrating this wild 20-year journey by doing what we love, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”
And if there were any doubts remaining, the end of the letter cast them aside.
“From the bottom of our hearts: thank you!” the brothers concluded. “Here’s to the next 20 years, and here’s to doing it together. The best is yet to come.”
