Ryan Reynolds has stepped out with his mother, Tammy Reynolds, in New York City amid the ongoing It Ends With Us legal battle.
Ryan, 48, and Tammy, 66, were photographed entering an apartment block in Manhattan on Monday, February 10, with the actor’s mom flashing a warm smile as she greeted an onlooker.
Meanwhile, Ryan, who was dressed in an orange bomber jacket and khaki pants, maintained a blank expression as he kept one hand buried in his pocket and the other holding onto his cell phone.
The outing comes amid Ryan and wife Blake Lively’s complicated legal troubles with the actress’ It Ends With Us director and costar, Justin Baldoni, who filed a lawsuit against both Ryan and Lively, 37, in January that sought $400 million in damages and accused the couple of civil extortion, defamation, false light invasion of privacy and additional claims. (Lively’s publicist Leslie Sloane is also accused of the same claims in the lawsuit.)

Baldoni’s lawsuit, slammed by Lively’s legal team at the time as “desperate,” arrived on the back of Lively filing her own lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, in December 2024. Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment in addition to launching a “social manipulation” campaign against her to “destroy” her reputation, an infliction of emotional distress, lost wages and further claims. Baldoni has continued to deny the claims. (Baldoni also hit back in late December 2024 with a lawsuit against The New York Times as a result of its reporting on Lively’s lawsuit.)
Ryan has proven a pillar of support to Lively throughout the ongoing legal saga, which also includes a related lawsuit filed against Lively by Baldoni’s crisis PR team earlier this month. An insider told Us Weekly earlier this month that Ryan “has been consoling” Lively in the leadup to trials, which are scheduled to commence on March 9, 2026, per NBC News.
The Deadpool & Wolverine actor shared a selfie via his Instagram Stories on February 3 that captured his arm slung around Lively’s shoulder.
The couple, who share four children, James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and Olin, 1, together, showed off large grins as they posed for the snap while touring the Welsh city of Wrexham recently. (Ryan and fellow actor Rob McElhenney own the Wrexham Football Club in Wales.)
As for Lively’s recent activity, the Gossip Girl alum has stayed out of the spotlight. She was absent from Super Bowl LIX as her close friend Taylor Swift attended in support of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. (Lively stood by Swift’s side during the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas.)
A separate source exclusively told Us after the game that Lively “was hoping to do some travelling” before the release of the upcoming A Simple Favor 2, which is slated to be released by Prime Video on May 1.
“She and Ryan are keeping a low profile at the moment,” the insider confirmed.
