A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Milford on Wednesday night.
A woman driving a pickup truck hit a pedestrian outside the Freshies On the Run in Milford about 8:25 p.m. before leaving the scene in the direction of Greenbush without aiding the victim, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday night.
The woman was caught on surveillance camera talking to a man before leaving the Freshies parking lot.
Deputies have located the suspect.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details are being released at this time.
