Kanye West is addressing his shocking 2025 Grammys red carpet appearance with wife Bianca Censori.
“Ask me how it was to beat the Grammys,” West, 47, told photographers before heading into a recording studio on Tuesday, February 4, alongside Censori, 30, per TMZ. “We beat the Grammys.”
Much like his red carpet appearance earlier this week, West was dressed in all black for the day out, rocking dark denim jeans, a black hoodie and matching coat. Censori, meanwhile, opted for a casual look that featured a white zip-up jacket, fitted leggings and silver pumps. She completed the outfit by pulling her hair back in a large claw clip. The couple both opted for a pair of black sunglasses.
Tuesday marks West and Censori’s first public outing since walking the Grammys red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 2, where Censori dramatically removed her black fur coat to reveal a completely sheer dress that left her naked. West, for his part, kept it simple in a black T-shirt and slacks.

Although reports initially surfaced that the duo had been kicked out of the event because of the controversial wardrobe choice, a source later confirmed to Us Weekly that they had “left on their own accord.”
“He is a master of publicity stunts,” the insider told Us. “He knows how to stay in the game.” The insider pointed out that West “knows what to do” when it comes to his vision. “He’s a master. He directs the ship and makes sure everyone knows that.”
“He was credentialed and invited to the red carpet. He went to make an appearance and get attention because that is what he does and he left to go to his after-party,” the source continued. “He was not kicked out. He went to make a statement and to get everyone buzzing and talking. And then go to his after party. He had no intention of staying at the Grammys.”
West’s song “Carnival” from his album Vultures 1 was nominated for Best Rap Song this year, a category he ultimately lost to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” During an interview on Tuesday, Grammys executive producer Raj Kapoor told People that West and Censori were never offered seats inside the arena to begin with, noting that the rapper’s category was “definitely in [the] Pre-Tel” portion of the ceremony, which takes place at the Peacock Theater ahead of the televised portion of the evening.
“They didn’t have a nomination on the show and Kanye wasn’t presenting. He was not performing either, which is mostly what those seats are,” the producer explained, adding that his team knows “each person who’s coming because every table is numbered. Our director has to know where those artists are for award categories.”

After departing Sunday’s event, West and Censori still made a night of it, as the couple packed on the PDA at a Grammys after-party where the model changed into a second look, rocking a barely-there mesh bodysuit.
West and Censori and Censori began dating in January 2023, just two months after the music mogul and Kim Kardashian — who share kids North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5 — finalized their divorce following six years of marriage. The same month West and Censori went public with their romance, Us confirmed the duo previously held “a small marriage ceremony.”
