I’m Still Here’s Fernanda Torres took home the trophy for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama during the Sunday, January 5, ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

“My god, I did not prepare anything … This is such an amazing year for female performances, so many actresses here that I admire so much,” Torres, 59, said during her acceptance speech, while dedicating the award to her mom. “You have no idea, she was here 25 years ago and this is, like, proof that art can endure.”

There were five other nominees in the category, including Pamela Anderson for The Last Showgirl, Angelina Jolie for Maria, Nicole Kidman for Babygirl, Tilda Swinton for The Room Next Door and Kate Winslet for Lee.
