Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have had their fair share of relationship ups and downs since announcing they are expecting their first child together.
“Megan and MGK have broken up several times since the pregnancy was announced,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the pair’s recent split. “This was just one of the bigger ones that people have heard about.”
News broke on Tuesday, December 10, that MGK (real name: Colson Baker) and Fox, 38, quietly broke up last month. Throughout their romance, the twosome — who began dating in 2020 – have experienced a lot of romantic highs in addition to a slew of romance lows.
“Their relationship is so full of passion and that leads them to get back together over and over, but also to fight in the most toxic of ways,” the insider tells Us. “Their fights have gotten less intense now that MGK is sober, but they still have such a hard time having a stable relationship with each other.”

A second source confirmed to Us that Fox and MGK broke up in “late November.”
“They were trying to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting,” the insider said. “They can’t get on the same page and it’s not easy for them being together.”
Fox and MGK’s breakup comes less than a month after the actress announced that she is pregnant with her and the rapper’s rainbow baby. In 2023, Fox revealed that she suffered a miscarriage during her relationship with MGK.

.”
Following the news of the pregnancy, an additional insider told Us that Fox and MGK were “both thrilled and excited to be parents together.”
“The pregnancy is bringing them closer, but they still have very dramatic ups and downs,” the insider explained. “Even when Megan and MGK broke up, they were always into having a child together. It’s something they both wanted even when they were broken up.”

While Fox and MGK are expecting their first child together, the twosome are already proud parents. MGK has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie from a previous relationship. Meanwhile, Fox is mother to Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
Earlier this month, Fox shared her little ones’ reaction to learning that they were getting a new sibling.
“The kids are all super excited for another addition to the family and have promised to help out and pitch in,” Fox said in a December interview with People.
