The first plowable snow fell over much of Maine on Thanksgiving.
That ranges from more than 10 inches in the mountains to just an inch along the Down East coast, according to preliminary snowfall reports compiled by the National Weather Service offices in Caribou and Gray.
The Thanksgiving storm has left 18,576 customers without power across Versant Power’s service area, while 52,090 are without power in Central Maine Power’s territory, as of 8:20 a.m. Friday.
