BANGOR – The time is quickly approaching to take in some holiday magic! The Rotary Club of Bangor is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Festival of Lights Parade, happening this year on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 4:30 p.m. in downtown Bangor. The theme this year is “The Magic of Rotary” and the parade promises to be a dazzling celebration of hope and joy.

With around 80 glittering units, including marching bands, floats, dancers, and other performers, the parade is sure to be a sight to see. And don’t miss the official lighting of the holiday tree in West Market Square right after the parade!

“We couldn’t be more excited to share the magic of the holidays with our community through the Festival of Lights Parade,” says Parade Chair Roland Narofsky. “Our Rotary Club works tirelessly to create a truly memorable experience that brings people together and celebrates the hope and joy of the season. From the sparkling floats to the lively performers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. So, bring your loved ones, young and old, and join us for an unforgettable night of festive cheer in downtown Bangor.”

Please note: in case of unsafe weather, the parade will be rescheduled to Saturday, Dec. 14 at the same time to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
