CBS announcer Kevin Harlan was quick on his feet when a camera cut to Taylor Swift after Travis Kelce’s record-tying touchdown
“There it is! The all-time Chiefs leading touchdown receiver! From [Patrick] Mahomes! That will give you something to sing about,” Harlan, 64, said as Swift, 34, was shown celebrating in her suite at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, November 10.
The touchdown was the 76th of Kelce’s career, which tied Hall of Famer and fellow tight end Tony Gonzalez for the most in Kansas City Chiefs franchise history.
Swift was all smiles for the historic moment, watching the game next to her mother, Andrea Swift. The pop star was also pictured hanging out with Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.

“Auntie Tay & Baby Ci,” Gordon, 29, captioned an Instagram Story on Sunday, showing Swift cuddling Gordon and Hardman’s daughter, Ci, 6 months.
The Chiefs won the game over the Denver Broncos in dramatic fashion, with linebacker Leo Chenal blocking a potentially game-winning kick as time expired to seal the 16-14 victory.
Kansas City improved to 9-0 on the season and the team has won their last 15 games in a row, including last year’s playoffs.
“You live for these moments,” Chiefs quarterback Mahomes said after the game. “When you grow up playing football, you live for the walk-off whatever it is. It’s special when you build [with] these guys for so long and you’ve built this chemistry with them and guys get to make that play.”
Mahomes, 29, added, “It’s something that I’m sure Leo [Chenal] will have for the rest of his life. I’m just glad that we all get to experience it together.”
The Chiefs QB lauded Chenal’s strength, saying he and his teammates compare him to a professional wrestler.

“We call him John Cena,” Mahomes joked. “He’s a guy who gets after it and we’ve used him on offense because of the way he’s able to use his speed and athleticism with that power.”
As for Kelce, the tight end continued a strong string of play after a slow start to the season had people wondering if his career was finally taking a downturn after a decade of dominance.
“I stopped caring about stats about four or five years ago,” Kelce told brother Jason Kelce on their “New Heights” podcast September 18. “I just went out there and started to play free and play for my guys. Sure enough, I think that’s the better mentality. You think about it more play by play and what your job is on that specific play.”
Kelce will have the chance to break the Chiefs all-time receiving touchdown record when the team returns to action Sunday, November 17 against the Buffalo Bills.
