I believe the incoming administration looms large as a textbook example of unaddressed and unresolved traumas — a real-life blend of big “T” and little “t” traumas that budding psych students should take note of. For the approximately 70 million who did not cast their vote for the Trump-Vance vision, it will be crucial in the days, weeks, months and years ahead to remember: “You didn’t cause this, you cannot control it and you cannot cure it.”
What we can do is heed the call of madam Vice President Kamala Harris “to organize, to mobilize, and to stay engaged for the sake of freedom and justice and the future that we all know we can build together.”
