Bachelor Nation’s Jason Tartick still has a lot of love for ex Kat Stickler despite their breakup.
The pair were first linked in April 2024 and made their relationship Instagram official two months later. Tartick even bonded with Stickler’s daughter, MK, whom she shares with her ex-husband.
Tartick and Stickler frequently put their romance on display via social media, which initially sparked some drama for his ex-fiancée, Kaitlyn Bristowe. In June 2024, Bristowe shut down “wild assumptions” about her feelings toward her ex’s new relationship, claiming, “It’s more of some held on anger and resentment that I’m working through!!! Not hurt.”
Rumors swirled in the fall of 2024 that Tartick and Stickler were on the rocks. They confirmed their split in October after six months of dating.

“I am sad to share that Kat and I are no longer together,” Tartick wrote via his Instagram Story. “It’s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast. Sometimes in life that works out and other times, it doesn’t. This time it didn’t.”
He added, “Kat has brought me so much happiness and light, she brought out parts of me I never knew existed. I will forever be grateful for her and, of course sweet MK. This chapter closes amicably, and another opens.”
In a statement of her own, Stickler insisted that the end of their relationship was “amicable” and that “love is never wasted.”

Stickler and Tartick sparked dating rumors after she appeared on his “Trading Secrets” podcast. The twosome were spotted packing on the PDA at the Stagecoach music festival that same month. “Jason was with Kat holding hands and he was guiding her to the front of Post Malone’s stage. … They looked really cute and he was protecting her in the crowd,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time.

Stickler gave fans a glimpse at Tartick’s connection with her daughter in a sweet TikTok video. “POV: the moment you realize your boyfriend’s officially been welcomed to the family,” she wrote, showing MK waiting for Tartick at the airport with a bouquet of flowers.

Tartick celebrated the start of the NFL season by attempting to get Stickler on his level as a Buffalo Bills fan. “POV: Your team wins and the only thing that matters the next 6 months is the road to Super Bowl LIX,” he captioned a video with Stickler. The Bachelorette alum and Stickler confirmed their breakup in statements shared via their respective Instagram Stories. “A lot of you have already guessed, and yes, Jason and I have broken up. It was amicable. It just didn’t work. I don’t want to talk about it,” Stickler noted. “Just wanted to tell you. … I feel like sometimes it’s so easy to think when a relationship ends that the love was wasted but love is never wasted. That’s all I have to say.”
Tartick emphasized that their relationship ended “amicably,” adding that he’s “rooting” for Stickler’s happiness. “I am also rooting for mine,” he wrote.
