A pedestrian died Monday morning after a car hit her in Buckfield.
The woman, whose identity hasn’t been released, was struck about 5:30 a.m. on Depot Street, according to ABC affiliate WMTW.
She was “gravely injured” and died at the scene, the TV station reported.
The driver hasn’t been identified.
The death remains under investigation, but police don’t believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
