Update: Michael Cassidy has been found and is safe.
Police are searching for a Bangor man who went missing overnight.
Michael Cassidy, 69, left his home on Mt. Hope Avenue and was noticed missing by his family early Monday morning.
He is believed to be wearing a gray hat, red and green fleece plants, a green button-up shirt with orange underneath and brown slippers.
He stands 6 feet tall, weighs 145 pounds and has a white beard. He has dementia and may appear to be confused, according to Bangor police.
