Police have identified the victim of a hit-and-run in Falmouth on Tuesday afternoon.
The man, 44-year-old Jedidiah Watson of Portland, was hit at about 3 p.m. on Gray Road, according to the Falmouth Police Department, CBS 13 reported.
When police arrived, they found his body on the side of the road.
The driver allegedly didn’t stop. Police found the driver and vehicle at about 5:30 p.m. in a parking lot about a half mile away, Falmouth police said.
Police haven’t publicly identified the driver.
No charges had been filed as of Wednesday morning, and the crash remains under investigation.
