| Hospice of Southern Maine is pleased to welcome new members and officers to its board of directors.
The three newest board members are Kimberly Giamportone, Susan Hall Dreher, and Cecilia Caldwell, MD. In addition to their board service, all three are trained Hospice of Southern Maine patient volunteers. Kimberly Giamportone is an assistant professor of social work at the University of Southern Maine and brings clinical experience in hospice and palliative care. Susan Hall Dreher brings 42 years of human services administration and education combined experience in health care and social services. Cecilia Caldwell is a physician formerly practicing obstetrics and gynecology. Additionally, three new officers have been named to the board of directors. Joining Chris Coon (VP of finance at Maine Medical Center) as long-time treasurer are incoming Chair of the Board Mark Jones (president of Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution); Vice Chair Patricia Weigel (retired president and CEO of Norway Savings Bank); and Secretary Moya Elliot (SVP, Cambridge Trust Company). |
