Summer House star KJ Dillard can’t help but criticize former friend West Wilson’s behavior as the fallout from his relationship with Amanda Batula continues.

“I know people make mistakes. I’m someone that gives grace, trust me,” KJ, 28, said during a Tuesday, June 2, appearance on the “More Life With Carl Radke” podcast. “I’ve made plenty of mistakes, and people have given me grace, but it just seems like he’s not learning from his mistakes.”

The Bravo newbie continued, “I keep seeing stuff and hearing stuff. I’m just like, ‘Bro, what is going on? Are you actually sorry?’”

KJ even compared West, 31, to his father. (KJ revealed during Summer House season 10 that he has a complicated relationship with his dad.)

“My dad has apologized to me and said, ‘I’m gonna do this. I’m gonna be better.’ Then, it just continues to repeat these cycles,” KJ continued. “It’s just like, ‘What is going on?’”

KJ noted that he’s had “wishy-washy” relationships with men in his life, which is why joining Summer House allowed him to find a new friend group. However, the Amanda, 34, and West drama “hurt” him so much.

“I’m like, ‘Bro, you lied straight to all of our faces,’” KJ said. “I know he has his own life and he can do whatever he wants, but it’s just like, dude, just disappointing.”

West and Amanda confirmed in late March that they were dating after weeks of rumors. Amanda was previously married to fellow Summer House star Kyle Cooke and West dated her best friend Ciara Miller in 2023.

For KJ, the drama was particularly hard because he was friends with West before joining the house. He also formed a close friendship with Ciara while they filmed season 10.

“He didn’t show much emotion,” KJ said of West while reflecting on the reunion. KJ also noted that West “did not protect” Amanda at all.

KJ has been open about the fact that West never reached out to him about the Amanda relationship drama. During the May 6 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, KJ revealed that West had finally reached out. KJ ended up reading the text on the talk show.

“I read his message on Watch What Happens Live, and a lot of people were like, ‘KJ is doing this for clout.’ I’m like, no, I really did not read that. I was scared inside because I didn’t know what it was gonna say,” KJ clarified on Tuesday. “When it was brought up, I was just like, ‘All right, let me see what it says real quick.’ I skimmed it, and then reading that was some closure for me. But I don’t know when I’m ever going to talk to West again. If I talk to him again.”

Part 2 of the Summer House reunion airs on Bravo Tuesday, June 2, at 8 p.m. ET.
