Jimmy Kimmel brutally mocked Spencer Pratt on the eve of the Los Angeles mayoral primary election with some throwback clips from The Hills.

On the Monday, June 1, edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a fake campaign ad skewered Pratt, 42, with some of the more embarrassing moments from his previous career as a reality TV villain.

“For decades, L.A. has been run by career politicians. It’s time for real change,” the parody began. “L.A. needs a mayor with no experience in anything at all!”

The ad promised that Pratt, 42, would “heal this city with thousands of crystals he was unable to sell,” in a nod to his custom jewelry and crystal company Pratt Daddy.

“Let the world know just how f***ing stupid you are: Spencer Pratt for mayor,” the clip declared.

Footage from Pratt’s genuine campaign ads were intercut with scenes from The Hills, where he referred to a female costar as a “bitch” and described himself as “dangerous.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Pratt’s rep for a response.

Kimmel, 58, previously attacked Pratt’s campaign on Wednesday, May 27, by suggesting that the mayoral candidate was following in President Donald Trump’s footsteps by using his reality TV fame to propel his political bid. (Trump, 79, recently endorsed Pratt’s candidacy though the reality star later denied that he is aligned with MAGA politics.)

“Since he’s a moderately famous person, he gets attention. He’s on the news. He’s on social media. For the first time in his life, people are agreeing with what he has to say. It’s hard not to agree with what he has to say,” Kimmel argued. “He’s angry about the same problems a lot of people here are angry about. Does he have solutions to those problems? No. But at least he’s acknowledging that they are problems.”

The late-night host went on, “So, then this angry reality star — who grew up wealthy and popular and is not very wealthy or popular anymore — really starts to enjoy the attention. He starts to think, ‘I should be mayor,’ which is a statement that should make everyone laugh. But not everyone is laughing. Not everyone sees this as a joke. Right now, if you believe the polls, 22% of them are going, ‘You know what? You should be mayor.”

Kimmel suggested that Pratt — like Trump — is totally unprepared for the realities of being an elected official should he actually win the mayoral race.

“You think this guy wants to sit through city council meetings all day talking about zoning? No, he wants to be a star again,” he insisted. “And guess what? It’s working. He’s everywhere. People show up to see him speak. He’s doing interviews. He’s making deals for a new reality show. It’s exactly what Donald Trump did.”

Pratt responded to Kimmel’s criticism by tweeting, “Jimmy’s secretly voting for me.”

Polls aggregated by the New York Times show a tight-race heading into Tuesday’s primary, with incumbent Mayor Karen Bass leading most surveys by a slim margin. However, Pratt pulled even in one notable poll from the California Post to tie Bass, 72, ahead of primary day.

If no single candidate scores a majority of votes on Tuesday, June 2, the top two contenders — regardless of party — will advance to the general election on November 3.
