A wanted man was spotted Monday near the University of Maine at Machias.
The 5-foot-6 man was seen wearing a dark Carhartt-type coat over a gray sweatshirt and jeans, according to the University of Maine Police Department.
Police warned students to not approach the man if seen and to call 911 immediately.
Police are searching the area for the man, whose identity wasn’t released.
