A Tuesday morning collision in Glenburn left one person dead.
A small SUV traveling south on Route 221 was making a left turn onto Pushaw Road about 10:15 a.m. when it crossed into the path of a northbound pickup truck hauling an empty trailer, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
The passenger in the SUV died while on the way to the hospital, the sheriff’s office said.
The SUV’s driver was taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The pickup truck’s two occupants were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.
The crash remains under investigation.
