A man was taken to the hospital Saturday night after being stabbed during a wedding reception at Kingsley Camp Ground in Raymond.
Deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office were called to the campground at about 7:03 p.m.
When they arrived, they found Donald Halsing, 26, who had been stabbed in the chest in what appeared to be an unprovoked attack, according to a press release.
Witnesses identified Andrew Manderson, 26, as a suspect. Deputies took him into custody without incident.
Halsing was transported to Maine Medical Center by the Raymond Fire Department with serious but non-threatening injuries.
Manderson was charged with elevated aggravated assault and taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
