
Officials involved in the investigation of the deadly fire at Robbins Lumber yard last Friday will hold a press briefing at 3 p.m. at the Searsmont Town Office.
Maine Department of Public Safety Commissioner Michael Sauschuck, representatives from the Maine Office of State Fire Marshal and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will provide an operational update on the investigation.
The fire devastated the Robbins Lumber business and Searsmont community, after it left 12 with serious burn injuries. A firefighter, 27-year-old Andrew Cross of Morrill died in Friday’s explosion.
