A Biddeford man died Friday after he was injured in a motorcycle collision in Saco.
Michael Petersen, 52, was riding a gray Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on Portland Road about 6:51 a.m. when he tried to pass a turning tractor-trailer, according to the Saco Police Department.
He crossed into the path of a southbound red Chevrolet Equinox driven by 53-year-old Mickie Cyr of Saco.
Petersen was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he succumbed to his injuries. Cyr was taken to the same hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
