The search for a Franklin man missing since February 2017 will resume this weekend.

Russell Burnett, 47, was last seen alive near his Eastbrook Road home on Feb. 21, 2017, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
He likely left his home on foot with his dog.
Since then, searches around his home and surrounding properties have yielded no clues as to his whereabouts.
The Maine Warden Service will lead a ground search in neighboring Eastbrook, Moss said Friday.
The public should not be alarmed and is not being asked to assist.
Anyone with information about the case can call 207-973-3700, ext. 9, and ask to speak with Detective Dana Austin.
