Mr. Beast was the latest celebrity to make a cameo on Survivor season 50.

The YouTuber, 27, appeared during the Wednesday, April 29, episode of the CBS reality competition, where host Jeff Probst described him as the “single biggest YouTuber on planet Earth.”

“You are the biggest thing in the world,” Probst, 64, told the internet star. “And for you to come and want to be a part of our little show is a really big deal.”

Mr. Beast then shared that he’s a big fan of the show and unveiled the milestone season’s latest twist: the Mr. Beast Super Beware Advantage. However, the specifics of the twist were kept under wraps until that night’s Tribal Council, leaving the contestants in suspense — and on edge.

“The psychological arc, the impact of the mere presence of Mr. Beast changed everything about how all of you think,” Probst told the cast after a tense Tribal Council meeting, pointing out that the mystery twist created a “fear of a known unknown” and “cognitive distortion.”

‘Beast Games’ Secrets Revealed After Prime Video’s $5 Million Season Finale

Mr. Beast then arrived on the scene again to explain his Super Beware Advantage once and for all. Opening a briefcase, the content creator revealed a single gold coin that represented a heads or tails flip. He explained that one player would be given the opportunity to call heads or tails and flip the coin. If they flipped correctly, the prize money would be doubled from $1 million to $2 million, and that player would win immunity. But if they flipped incorrectly, the player would be sent home.

Contestant Patrick William “Rick” Devens, who previously competed on Survivor 38, volunteered to do the coin flip and ultimately won the challenge.

The episode ended with three-time Survivor alum Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick being voted off. Rizo Velovic, Jonathan Young, Cirie Fields, Aubry Bracco, Joseph “Joe” Hunter, Tiffany Ervin, Ozzy Lusth, Emily Flippen and Devens, 33, remain in the competition.

Survivor 50, subtitled “In the Hands of the Fans,” commemorates the show’s 25th anniversary. The season’s game mechanics and production designs were chosen entirely by fans via an online vote, while the contestants are past fan favorites.

Inside Forbes’ Top 10 Creators of 2025: How Much Are They Earning?

Mr. Beast joined famous Survivor fans Billie Eilish, Jimmy Fallon and Zac Brown as celebrity guests.

Mr. Beast rose to fame with his YouTube videos centered around gaming, endurance contests and estimating the earnings of other popular creators. He later began funding humanitarian projects and performing grandiose charitable acts.

Though Mr. Beast has achieved billionaire status on paper, he told the Wall Street Journal in January that he’s not as rich as people think.

“It’s funny talking about my personal finances because no one ever believes anything I say, because they’re like, ‘You’re a billionaire,’” he told the outlet. “I’m like, that’s net worth. I actually … I have negative money right now. I’m borrowing money. That’s how little money I have. Technically, everyone watching this video has more money than me in their bank account if you subtract the equity value of my company, which doesn’t buy me McDonald’s in the morning, or whatever.”
