An Oregon man allegedly assaulted a woman in downtown Bangor on Wednesday afternoon.
Devin Anderson, 35, has been charged with assault, according to Jeremy Brock, a spokesperson for the Bangor Police Department.
Anderson allegedly followed a woman about 1:06 p.m. as she left a downtown restaurant and grabbed her.
Police found him a short time later nearby and arrested him.
He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail, where he remained Thursday morning, according to the jail’s website.
