Camila Mendes and Rudy Mancuso have offered glimpses into their romance after connecting on set.
The couple met after Mendes was cast alongside Mancuso in Prime Video’s film Música. After filming wrapped on the project, Mendes subtly confirmed their romance in November 2022 with an Instagram photo of Mancuso wrapping his arm around her.
Before sparking romance rumors with Mancuso, Mendes dated photographer Ian Wallace from 2013 to 2017. She moved on with her Riverdale costar Charles Melton, who she was linked to on and off from 2018 to 2021.
Mendes previously explained why she remains tight-lipped about her personal life.

Mancuso, for his part, was previously in a long-term relationship with actress Maia Mitchell. In April 2022, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that the twosome had called it quits “a few months” prior after six years together.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, Mendes took to social media to gush over Mancuso.
“My valentine 🌹 as soon as he wrapped música, he flew all the way to the UK to support me while filming upgraded. edited all of música remotely from our little hotel room in leeds,” she wrote via Instagram. “He visited me on set almost every day just to give me a kiss and watch me do my thing. i love you @rudymancuso thanks for showing up in the most meaningful ways. lucky to be your valentine 💌.”

Prime Video released a trailer for Mancuso’s semi-biographical film, which centers around a man with synesthesia who falls in love with a woman (Mendes) while navigating the pressures of family and his Brazilian culture in New Jersey.

Mendes and Mancuso hit the red carpet together at an NYC screening of Música one month after the film’s release. Sporting black jackets and white shirts, Mendes completed her look with a pair of jeans and red heels while Mancuso opted for black trousers and dress shoes.

Mendes further proclaimed that her “big dream” in life is to “raise a beautiful family.”
“I really just want to have my community live close to me,” she said. “I want Rudy’s family to come closer. I want my dad’s side of the family to come closer, and I want to raise a beautiful family and have a little sanctuary. I want to have enough success in life where it’s not overwhelming but enough to live happily and comfortably and give my kids the best life.”
