What’s New on Peacock in April 2026 — The Full List of Movies and TV Shows
‘The Fighter’ (2010)
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 91
The Fighter is one of the rare films to feature two performers who were nominated in the Supporting Actress category at the Oscars. Amy Adams was the odd woman out, but Melissa Leo took home an Academy Award to match the one Christian Bale won for Best Supporting Actor. Inexplicably, the academy snubbed Mark Wahlberg, even though his turn as Micky Ward was easily one of his best performances.
This film is inspired by the lives of Ward and his half-brother, Dick “Dicky” Eklund (Bale). Ward is a journeyman boxer under the tutelage of Eklund, despite the latter’s crippling drug addiction. Ekland was once a boxer himself, and even their mother, Alice Eklund-Ward (Leo), plays a part in managing Ward’s career. But after Ward suffers a hard loss and Eklund is sent to prison, both brothers will have to face long odds before they can reclaim their lives. At least Ward gets to do it alongside Charlene Fleming (Adams), the newfound love of his life.

‘Face/Off’ (1997)
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 93
Face/Off is just as wild in 2026 as it was in 1997. This is easily director John Woo‘s best American film, and Nicolas Cage and John Travolta looked like they were having a blast playing each other and trading roles. Travolta portrays FBI agent Sean Archer, a man with a grudge against terrorist Castor Troy (Cage) over the death of the former’s son. After a heated battle between the two, Troy is temporarily comatose.
3 New Peacock Movies With at Least 95 Percent on Rotten Tomatoes (March 2026)
To find a bomb planted by Troy, Archer reluctantly agrees to go undercover as his nemesis. That entails a facial transplant that makes him look and sound exactly like Troy. The real Troy awakens from his coma and manages to steal Archer’s face, his family and his entire life while erasing any evidence that they ever swapped places. Now, the hunter is the prey, and Archer badly needs to convince his family that he’s not who he appears to be.

‘Dazed and Confused’ (1993)
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 94
For his third film, director Richard Linklater hit a gold mine of future stars in Dazed and Confused. Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck, Milla Jovovich, Parker Posey and several other performers appeared in this flick before they established themselves as major players in the industry. The film is set in 1976 on the last day of high school in a small town that’s obsessed with football.
Randall “Pink” Floyd (Jason London) is the only player on the high school football team who refuses to sign a contract promising not to do anything that will jeopardize the school’s chances for a state championship. He’s also the only senior who shows compassion towards a freshman, Mitch Kramer (Wiley Wiggins), following a brutal hazing ritual. Multiple stories about different characters unfold during the film, but the movie keeps coming back to Mitch and Pink’s separate journeys.
