Some members of the royal family are traveling to America this year.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla are set to travel to the United States in April, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
Multiple reports previously claimed in November 2025 that Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton would be taking a trip to the United States in the coming months. Page Six was first to report the news, with a source hoping that “all the senior royals” would take the trip. Us Weekly has reached out to Buckingham and Kensington Palace for comment at the time.
The royal family’s voyage to the United States is set to take place months after President Donald Trump’s second state visit to England this past September.

Which Royal Family Members Will Be Traveling to America?
King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s attendance was confirmed in March.
It was previously reported that Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton would travel alongside their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, but their involvement is still unclear.
Why Is the Royal Family Coming to America?
Initially, a source told The Sun that the trip is in part due to America hosting the World Cup this summer. The report, published in November 2025, claimed that the tournament is the reason younger members of the royal family would be in attendance.
A separate report from The Sun stated that King Charles III and Queen Camilla were invited to the United States for an April visit to the White House. (A source previously confirmed to Us that the royal family’s America trip was indeed set for April.)
Would the Royal Family See Prince Harry in America?
If the royal family were to travel to the United States, the tension between Harry and members of his family would bring another layer. Us Weekly reached out to Team Sussex for comment regarding William and Harry crossing paths in the United States next year.
Prince Harry and King Charles III’s Ups and Downs Through the Years
While Harry has been at odds publicly with his family since leaving the U.K. with wife Meghan Markle in 2020, he has started to slightly mend things with his father, Charles. When Harry traveled home in England, he and Charles sat down for a closed-door meeting — their first in nearly two years
“They were catching up personally about the children and what has been going on with Charles and his health,” the source told Us Weekly exclusively at the time. “There were hugs and tears at the meeting.”
However, it’s unclear where Harry stands with his brother.
“I think that Harry’s relationship with his brother is a different beast than his relationship with his father,” royal expert Kristen Meinzer told Us in August. “But perhaps if Charles warms more to Harry, William will feel compelled to follow his lead.”
