Summer House‘s Amanda Batula is stripping down for a new weed campaign.
To celebrate Edie Parker’s products ahead of 4/20, Batula, 34, posed for photos showing off her toned body while smoking a joint. In an exclusive statement to Us Weekly, Batula celebrated the ad, saying, “I love Edie Parker. We knew we would work together one day and were just waiting for the perfect moment.”
She continued: “I am proud to be a part of normalizing this plant, and the shoot was a bit of a fun departure from what I normally do. It’s the perfect opportunity to spotlight two of my favorite things — boobs and bud.”
As Bravo fans already know, Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, recently received criticism for judging her smoking weed. A February episode of Summer House inspired the discussion when Cooke, 43, expressed his frustrations about Batula to West Wilson and Jesse Solomon.
Batula, for her part, told Marie Claire in a profile earlier this month that she’s “always been very open about smoking weed.”
“I’ve never been ashamed or tried to hide it. I smoke weed every night at the house on camera,” she said. “We have a little balcony outside the primary bedroom, where I go out to smoke my little joint — Bravo just doesn’t air those scenes.”
After four years of marriage, the former couple announced their split in January, writing in an Instagram statement, “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple. We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
