Netflix is overflowing with movies in March that have high scores on Rotten Tomatoes.

Most of the new additions are in the high 80s on RT, but that’s still a very impressive stat considering how rare 90 percent scores are.

The Watch With Us team has narrowed down this month’s selections to the three underrated Netflix movies with great Rotten Tomatoes critics’ scores.

Our picks include a crime thriller, a character drama and one of the most wildly successful animated films of the last two decades.

New on Netflix in March 2026 — The Full List of Movies and TV Shows

‘Sicario’ (2015)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 91

If someone were to offer a film by the co-creator of Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan, and the director of Dune, Denis Villeneuve, studios would fall all over themselves to swoop it up. Sicario‘s creative team may have gone on to bigger things, but their shared project is still pretty impressive 11 years later. Emily Blunt stars as FBI Special Agent Kate Macer, a woman in the trenches of the drug war, and it’s getting uglier all the time.

Following a deadly incident involving his colleagues, Kate accepts the invitation of CIA officer Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) to join his task force to hunt down Manuel Díaz (Bernardo Saracino), a prominent member of a drug cartel. They’re joined by Alejandro Gillick (Benicio del Toro), an enigmatic CIA-trained assassin who is on a quest for revenge. Neither Matt nor Alejandro has been straight with Kate about the real goal of the task force’s mission, and that pulls her down into their moral quagmire when the operation spills into Mexico.

Sicario is streaming on Netflix.

‘A Man Called Ove’ (2015)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 91

If you’ve ever caught Tom Hanks in A Man Called Otto, then the story of A Man Called Ove won’t have too many surprises for you. This is the Swedish film that inspired Hanks’ movie, and it features Rolf Lassgård in the title role as Ove. He’s an older man who doesn’t have much to live for following the death of his wife, Sonja (Ida Engvoll), and the end of his friendship with a longtime pal named Rune (Börje Lundberg).

Netflix’s Newest Hit Movie Is This 2022 Drama About an Unlikely Love Story

Before Ove can go through with his attempt to end his misery, he’s interrupted by his new neighbor, Parvaneh (Bahar Pars), an Iranian immigrant who goes out of her way to befriend him. Parvaneh and her family constantly call on Otto for small favors because they need him, and they also give him the companionship that he lost when his wife passed. There may not be too many good years left for Ove, but his presence in the lives of Parvaneh and their neighbors may have a more profound effect than any of them could have realized.

A Man Called Ove is streaming on Netflix.

‘The Lego Movie’ (2014)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 96

Few could have predicted that The Lego Movie would be anything more than an extended commercial for the famous block toys. But the film was not only a box-office smash, it also was critically acclaimed and beloved by fans of all ages. Chris Pratt lends his voice to Emmet Brickowski, the most unremarkable and generic Lego construction figure ever made.

Emmet doesn’t have any desire to be adventurous or heroic until after he stumbles upon Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks), the wizard Vitruvius  (Morgan Freeman) and Lego Batman (Will Arnett). Wyldstyle believes that Emmet may be the Special, the only one who stands in the way of Lord Business (Will Ferrell) and his plans to freeze the Lego universe forever. This film is so charming that it’s almost a magic trick, and Batman’s not the only familiar character who appears.

The Lego Movie is streaming on Netflix.
