The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Mikayla Matthews is sharing her reaction to MomTok’s drama-filled week.

The stars of the hit Hulu reality show have scarcely been out of the headlines in the past week. To recap: First, there was the alleged domestic violence incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen that put a pause on filming of season 5. Then ABC canceled Taylor’s Bachelorette season after TMZ published footage of a 2023 domestic dispute between her and Dakota.

Elsewhere in MomTok, Jessi Draper’s husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for divorce the same day that the Bachelorette cancellation unfolded, followed by Jessi spilling all the beans about her marriage on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. Then, on Thursday, March 26, Us Weekly confirmed Jessi had kissed costar Miranda Hope McWhorter’s ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, at a party last weekend, sending new ripples through MomTok.

Mikayla, 26, had a highly relatable reaction to all the news via her Instagram Stories on Thursday night.

“Hey, so who has momtok’s voodoo dolls ‘cause give them back. We’ve had enough,” she wrote over a selfie with her hand over her mouth.

In another Instagram Story, Mikayla posed with her 8-month-old baby daughter, Lottie June, and wrote over the image, “This week has been one thing after another gd,” alongside a skull emoji. (The influencer also shares son Beckham, 8, and daughters Haven, 6, and Tommie, 4, with estranged husband Jace Terry.)

Mikayla was also one of the Mormon Wives cast to comment on Miranda’s latest Instagram video, in which Miranda reacted to the news of Jessi and Chase’s kiss. Miranda wrote over a video of her applying her makeup: “GRWM while I process my friend group being a waiting room for my ex-husband.”

“The week straight from hell,” Mikayla commented.

It seems the rest of the cast was shocked by the news of Jessi and Chase’s hookup, too.

“I have no words 😶,” Whitney Leavitt commented.

The MomTok drama comes as the cast and Hulu agreed to pause production on season 5 of the Emmy-nominated show amid an alleged domestic violence incident involving exes Taylor and Dakota in February.

Utah’s Draper City Police Department confirmed to Us earlier this month that it had opened a “domestic assault investigation” involving the pair and that allegations were made by both parties. (A third allegation of domestic violence also emerged earlier this week.)

Jessi addressed the decision to pause production in her “Call Her Daddy” interview on Wednesday, March 25.

“Me and the girls, we did decide to stop filming when we found this out because we were starting to hear things a little bit before it leaked,” Jessi said. “We just didn’t want to be filming and say the wrong thing on camera, not knowing the full story yet. We didn’t want to have to process all this information for the first time and then also be speaking about it. We just thought, for everyone’s mental health, let’s take a beat and let’s not film right now.”

“We went to production and the network, and they were all so supportive, and they were like, ‘We totally get it. You guys come first,’” she added. “They handled it so well. Because of that, we all felt comfortable being like, ‘You know what? This is our real lives and if we want this show to continue to be successful, we have to handle this the right way.’”
