Brian Littrell and his wife, Leighanne Littrell, claim that they have received “physical threats” for filing complaints about individuals allegedly trespassing on their private property.
“It will eventually come out, but all the pictures and the documents that we have from social media and the threats, the physical threats to my family,” Brian, 51, claimed to Fox News in an interview published Tuesday, March 24. “They’ve talked about burning our house down.”
According to Brian, anonymous online commenters have also allegedly “talked about bringing guns” to the family’s residence.
“They said, ‘Yeah, guns are allowed in Florida.’ They want to spray us with mace,” the Backstreet Boys singer alleged. “They want to punch my teeth out … it’s, like, crazy.”

Brian and Leighanne, 56, have been in the middle of several legal battles, claiming that multiple individuals have trespassed on their beachfront property. One lawsuit filed in 2025 was dismissed in February. The Littrells, meanwhile, have since filed an amended complaint against defendant Carolyn Barrington Hill over alleged emotional distress.
Hill has denied the accusations and filed to dismiss the case.
“The Amended Complaint filed by the Plaintiffs is once again legally deficient, and subject to dismissal by the Court,” Hill’s attorney, Heidi Mehaffey, told Fox News in a statement earlier this month. “Ms. Hill has asked the Court to dismiss all seven counts of trespass against her, as the Plaintiffs failed to state a cause of action upon which relief can be granted. The Plaintiffs have not provided sufficient factual allegations that would allow the Court to award them the damages and relief they seek.”
The attorney added, “Ms. Hill continues to defend her right to visit the shoreline of the Gulf on this particular beach, as she has for decades.”
Hill reportedly isn’t the only critic of Brian and Leighanne’s legal battle.

“They’re even telling their servers [to] spit in our food,” Brian told Fox of the online haters, stressing that he and his family are “good people” who want to “educate people on the facts of what they should and shouldn’t do, the protocol, the misinformation that’s out there.”
“We’re not trying to take something that’s not ours,” he stated. “We just want to enjoy the sand.”
While Brian feels “blessed” regarding his career and family, he is solely fighting to make sure that his loved ones are safe. (Brian and Leighanne share son Baylee, 23.)
“We’ve been attacked for close to a little over two years now that this has been going on, and I don’t want to give anybody my joy,” he claimed. “I don’t want somebody to take away my joy as well. So that to me as a father, as a husband, as [a] provider, it’s, like, that’s my job.”
Brian added, “I got to keep my joy, and I have to figure out a new way to look at it.”
