A South Carolina boutique owner has been arrested for the 14th time this year for allegedly defrauding some of her customers, Us Weekly has learned.
Police in Pendleton recently spoke with a resident who reported placing four orders at Pamela Brooke Schronce‘s baby boutique. The victim claimed that her order never arrived, and she was not granted a refund. That is when police obtained four arrest warrants for obtaining property under false pretenses of less than $2,000.
Pendleton’s Interim Police Chief David Poulson said that Schronce actually turned herself in on Thursday, March 19.
She was last arrested two weeks ago, on March 2.
Schronce, 30, is the owner of Thomas & Turner Boutique in Belton, Us previously reported.
She was arrested on the same or similar charges on January 1 and 7, and then again on February 5, 9, 11, 13, 19, 20, 23, and 25.

At this point, local prosecutors have called on the attorney general’s office to take control of the case.
The attorney general’s office has said it was reviewing the situation to “determine the best path forward.”
Schronce’s attorney, Joy C. Davis, previously told Us via email her client “is really looking forward to her day in court.”
Davis added the case is still in its infancy, as she awaits discovery from the various law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices.
Schronce’s boutique stopped accepting online orders as of March 3, according to a message that’s displayed on her business’ website.
Her store, which is marketed as a “boutique for trendy little babies,” offers “custom designed pieces” that are “affordable and adorable,” her boutique’s Instagram page declares.
Police first heard Schronce’s name in December, when one of her customers reported to police they had ordered $360 worth of items from her business but never received the products they paid for, Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller previously confirmed to Us via email.

Schronce is “the subject of numerous cases originating out of Anderson County and spanning several jurisdictions,” the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office said.
It appears more arrests could be coming for Schronce. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office has announced Schronce is accused of scamming more than 50 people who live in that county alone.
All of the various agencies who’ve filed charges against Schronce this year have said their investigations into her alleged crimes are ongoing.
Additional victims have also been encouraged to contact their local police departments if they, too, have unfulfilled orders from Schronce.
