The 911 call for Taylor Frankie Paul and ex Dakota Mortensen’s 2023 incident has resurfaced amid the pair’s ongoing domestic violence investigation.
An unidentified person called the emergency services over an alleged “domestic violence” dispute at Taylor, now 31, and Dakota’s home in Utah.
“Somebody is screaming like ‘Get off me.’ There is a woman screaming,” the caller claimed. “It’s like the garage door keeps opening and shutting. It sounds like she is trying to get out. I don’t know if the kids are there right now because I think she … shares time with her ex-husband.”
Law enforcement arrived at the pair’s house and spoke to Dakota, now 33, and Taylor. Dakota alleged that Taylor was “hammered” and the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star claimed he was as well and that he “threw” her “out in the garage.”

Officers noted that Taylor was “crying outside” and Dakota claimed that Taylor threw chairs at him.
“She was launching those metal chairs at me,” Dakota alleged. “I was actually a little bit scared for my life there.”
Taylor also told the authorities she was afraid of Dakota during the altercation.
“I peed my pants because I was so scared of him,” she claimed. “He pushed me into the wooden thing so I reacted.”
Following the incident, Taylor was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief. (Taylor shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul. She and Dakota later welcomed son Ever, 2.)
Taylor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, and the other charges were dismissed. After Taylor was released from police custody, she reconciled with Dakota.
The alleged altercation made headlines three years after the incident when TMZ obtained footage of Taylor throwing a chair at Dakota on Thursday, March 19. Hours later, ABC announced that Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette was canceled ahead of its Sunday, March 22, premiere.
“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment spokesperson told Us Weekly in a statement at the time.
Taylor’s rep later addressed ABC’s decision to not move forward with her season and her ongoing drama with Dakota.

“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” a rep for Taylor said in a statement to Us Weekly on Thursday, March 19. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”
Dakota broke his silence shortly after in a statement to Us, ““As anyone who has seen the video will understand, this is a deeply upsetting situation. I am, unfortunately, used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny. I am focusing on our son and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same.”
