Kevin Spacey has settled out of court with three men who sued the actor over sexual assault claims.
According to a court order made public this week and reviewed by Reuters, the confidential settlement was made between Spacey, 66, and three British men who had filed civil lawsuits at London’s High Court accusing him of sexual assault between 2000 and 2013.
Two of the individuals were complainants who gave evidence during Spacey’s 2023 criminal trial in London. That case ended with the actor being acquitted of all charges.
Reuters reported that a court order dated Friday, March 13, said that the lawsuits have been canceled following the settlement, meaning a trial scheduled for October will now not take place.

Us Weekly had reached out to Spacey’s lawyer for comment.
Spacey has continuously denied all allegations of wrongdoing and said the incidents alleged in the lawsuits did not happen or were consensual.
In 2024, Channel 4 in London aired a documentary titled Spacey Unmasked. The project featured multiple participants speaking out about their alleged experiences with Spacey.
The actor slammed the documentary and claimed producers didn’t give him enough time to respond to the allegations.
“Over the last week, I have repeatedly requested that @Channel4 afford me more than 7 days to respond to allegations made against me dating back 48 years and provide me with sufficient details to investigate these matters,” Spacey wrote via X in May 2024. “Channel 4 has refused on the basis that they feel that asking for a response in 7 days to new, anonymized and non-specific allegations is a ‘fair opportunity’ for me to refute any allegations made against me.”
The actor continued, “Each time I have been given the time and a proper forum to defend myself, the allegations have failed under scrutiny and I have been exonerated.”
Despite not being convicted of a crime, Spacey was dropped from Netflix’s House of Cards and other projects.

In a rare social media post in November 2025, Spacey offered an update on his career and where he may be residing after he told The Telegraph he was “living in hotels and Airbnbs and going where the work is.”
“In light of the recent articles claiming I am homeless, I feel the need to respond. Not to the press, but to the thousands of people who have reached out over the past few days offering me a place to stay or have just asked if I’m OK,” Spacey said in an Instagram video. “I have been working nonstop this entire year and for that, I have so much to be grateful for. And there are many people, as we all know, who are indeed actually living on the streets or in their cars or in terrible financial situations and my heart goes out to them. But it is clear from the article itself that I am not one of them.”
