A man died Wednesday morning at Mountain View Correctional Facility.
Milo Richards, 75, died about 6 a.m. at the Charleston prison, according to a Maine Department of Corrections spokesperson.
The Maine attorney general’s and medical examiner’s office were notified of his death, as is standard procedure.
Richards was serving a 20-year sentence for gross sexual assault. He began that sentence in 2019.
