A former teacher in New York, who was nicknamed “Major Hands,” has been accused of hosting prostitution parties at his home.
Eric Simpson allegedly hosted parties in which “commercial sex workers met with customers and engaged in commercial sex transactions,” according to an indictment filed on Tuesday, March 10, and obtained by 13WHAM.
The alleged parties took place between 2021 and December 2025.
Simpson, 66, “regularly promoted, managed, and carried on prostitution parties” at his home in Macedon, New York, and “arranged to have commercial sex workers present and available to perform commercial sex acts with Simpson and with those he invited to the parties,” according to the indictment.

The indictment also claimed that Simpson promoted the parties through a Gmail account.
“In the emails, Simpson detailed how many women would be present, sometimes identifying them by first name. Simpson managed the terms of the prostitution parties via the emails, including by setting a cover charge for admission to the party, designating what rooms and other accommodations would be available, and telling prospective customers where to park, so as to not be parked too close to his house,” the indictment read. “The emails directed customers to negotiate ‘donations’ for services directly with the ‘dancers.’”
Simpson has also been accused of allowing commercial sex workers to use his house for prostitution when he wasn’t home. He also allegedly used his Gmail to advertise which workers were at his home and which acts they would perform.
He was indicted by a grand jury on one count of use of interstate facilities to promote, manage, establish, carry on and facilitate a prostitution enterprise.
Simpson was arraigned on Wednesday, March 11, in federal court in Buffalo. He has since been released on conditions after he entered a not guilty plea, and he’s scheduled to return to court on Monday, March 16.
The North Rose-Wolcott Central School District confirmed in a statement that Simpson previously worked there as a technology teacher from August 2024 until he resigned in January 2026.
“As with all employees, Mr. Simpson was subject to a required background check and employment screening, including fingerprinting and a check of the New York State Sex Offender Registry, which came through with approval from the New York State Education Department,” the statement read, per 13WHAM.

“The charge against Mr. Simpson involves alleged conduct that occurred outside of his capacity as an employee of the District and we have no reason to believe an investigation would involve his work with North Rose-Wolcott,” the school district continued. “However, the District will fully cooperate with law enforcement in their investigation if asked. The safety of our students, staff and community is our top priority.”
The district then said that they did “not have information related to the allegations referenced in the indictment.”
“As this is an active investigation, the district will not be commenting further on this matter,” the statement concluded. “Any additional questions should be directed to Homeland Security.”
Simpson also previously worked at the Gananda Central School District as a substitute teacher from September 2020 to June 2022, as well as a middle school computer science teacher from September 2022 to August 2024.
