One person was stabbed Thursday morning during an alleged home invasion in Mattawamkeag.
The stabbing happened about 6:30 a.m. at an Indian Avenue home, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim fled in a vehicle to another residence, where deputies later found them. The victim was taken to Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln.
The stabbing remains under investigation, but the sheriff’s office said there’s no threat to the public.
