Harvey Weinstein has no hard feelings toward Adrien Brody.
Brody, 52, offered a shout-out to Weinstein’s two kids with Georgina Chapman — whom the actor has been dating since 2019 — after winning his Academy Award at the 2025 Oscars.
Weinstein, 73, said he was “happy” with Brody’s mention of daughter India, 15, and son Dashiell, 12, during his acceptance speech.
“It’s good that my kids have someone in their lives,” Weinstein said during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on Tuesday, March 10. “And Georgina suffered terribly because of me. I’m glad she’s finally found some happiness.”
Brody took home the best actor award at the Oscars in March 2025 for his role in The Brutalist.
What Did Adrien Brody Throw at Georgina Chapman Before Oscars Speech?
He thanked Chapman, 49, naming her as someone who “reinvigorated my own self-worth but also my values and our values.” Brody also spoke to “her beautiful children,” thanking them for accepting him into their family. He further revealed that India and Dashiell call him “Popsy.”
Weinstein previously reacted to Brody’s speech in a March 2025 statement to Us Weekly.
“Harvey is happy for Georgina and grateful that his kids are being loved and cared for as they deserve to be,” his rep shared at the time.
Weinstein married Chapman, his second wife, in December 2007. After nearly a decade together, news broke in October 2017 that Chapman had filed for divorce from Weinstein. Their split came one week after his sexual assault scandal broke.
“I sat down with my wife Georgina, who I love more than anything, and we discussed what was best for our family,” Weinstein told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “We discussed the possibility of a separation and I encouraged her to do what was in her heart. In the end, she made the decision to separate.”

Their divorce was finalized by January 2018.
Chapman sparked romance rumors with Brody in 2019, but they didn’t take things public until June 2021. Brody and Chapman kept a rather low profile until his winning spree during the 2025 awards season for The Brutalist.
“To my beautiful and amazing partner, Georgina. Your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity is a daily reminder of how to be,” Brody said when he won the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama at the 2025 Golden Globes. “I would not be standing here before you if it wasn’t for you. There was a time not too long ago where I thought this might not be afforded to me again, so thank you.”
