In a sneak peek of Netflix’s age-gap dating show, Age of Attraction, one contestant is determined to find an older man — and bonds with a guy who reminds her of her dad.
“People have a tendency to put me in a box when they find out my age,” Libby says in Us Weekly’s exclusive clip from the show’s Wednesday, March 11, premiere.
Libby is determined to prove others wrong.
“They probably think I don’t know what I want and I’m super nonchalant,” she notes. “But I’m not really looking to attract men within my age range, because they’re usually super immature.”

After sharing in a confessional that she’s “looking for something more serious,” Libby is seen bonding with a possible new love interest.
“David is my dad’s name,” she says, as the man asks, “Is that a bad thing to start with? Do you like your dad?”
Libby reassures him that she loves her dad. “I’m definitely excited, but I don’t think I’ve ever dated somebody that old,” she admits. “So it’s definitely nerve-wracking. Like, what are we gonna talk about?”

According to her bio, Libby is a social media manager from San Diego and a Leo. She previously shared her concerns about finding love on Age of Attraction when a trailer for the show was released in January.
“I don’t know if these guys are my age, my dad’s age, my grandpa’s age,” she said. “I’m getting nervous.”
Age of Attraction is hosted by reality star Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, who is 18 years his junior. According to the official synopsis, Age of Attraction shows how “age is thrown out the window when singles search for their soulmates, but will the years come between them?”
Before hosting his own dating show, Nick, 45, appeared as a contestant on ABC’s The Bachelorette in 2014. He ended Andi Dorfman’s season as the runner-up, returning one year later to compete for Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s heart, but he once again left the final rose ceremony without a fiancée.

Nick appeared on Bachelor in Paradise before being named the Bachelor lead in 2016. He proposed to contestant Vanessa Grimaldi in the season finale, but their relationship fizzled out before they made it down the aisle.
Nick later found love with Natalie, 26, whom he started dating in 2021.
“We started messaging [online], and I carded her. I wanted to make sure she was a real person,” Viall said about their age difference on a March 2023 episode of “The Squeeze” podcast. “The age at the time, I was very self-conscious about. I was very guarded.”
Natalie recalled realizing that Nick was The One after they met, adding, “I knew after that weekend, I was like, ‘I’m going to spend the rest of my life with this man.’ And I knew it and he didn’t. So I was like, ‘I’m just going to hang on because he’ll come around.’ So I asked him several times to date me.”
The couple got married in 2024 and welcomed their daughter, River, that same year. They are currently expecting twins following multiple pregnancy losses.
New episodes of Age of Attraction hit Netflix on Wednesdays.
