A Dixmont man long wanted on drug and gun charges was arrested Thursday.
Jesse Weeman, 29, was wanted on warrants issued in 2023 and 2024, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies found Weeman and 42-year-old Ashley Wilber of Orrington inside a vehicle outside a Dixmont residence, the sheriff’s office said late Thursday.
Weeman was arrested without incident.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies found methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Wilber was charged with aggravated drug trafficking and violating her conditions of release, while Weeman was charged with drug possession and violating his conditions of release.
Both of them were taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor, where they remained Friday morning, according to the jail’s website.
The investigation is ongoing.
