The Bangor Daily News and Belfast Free Library will co-host an event on Friday for local residents to meet with BDN staff and talk about local news stories and the BDN’s coverage of the state’s midcoast.
The event will be held at noon, Friday, March 6, at the library at 106 High St. People are encouraged to bring their lunch with them as they meet and chat with Bridget Huber, the BDN’s new Waldo County reporter, and other BDN staff including Coastal Editor Bill Trotter and Director of Development Jo Easton.
The BDN is hoping to hear from attendees about what sort of specific or general information area residents want from their local news sources.
Attendees can also bring their digital devices if they have questions about accessing the Bangor Daily News online, either with their phones, tablets or laptops.
There is not a formal agenda for the event, which is expected to last roughly an hour.
