
A Bangor man allegedly threatened to kill people at an office building Friday evening.
Jeremy Trudeau, 35, has been charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, terrorizing, domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence terrorizing, criminal mischief and violating a protection order, according to Sgt. Jeremy Brock, a spokesperson for the Bangor Police Department.
Trudeau allegedly was waiting outside a Summer Street office building, where a woman inside had a protection order against him.
When she found him waiting for her, she fled inside and called for help while he pursued her, Brock said Monday morning.
Witnesses told police that Trudeau tried to break down a door, which the woman had barricaded against him. He was allegedly armed with a knife and threatened to kill people.
Police arrested Trudeau as he attempted to get into his vehicle.
He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail, where he remained Monday morning, according to the jail’s website.
