John-David Duggar and his wife, Abbie Duggar, are officially parents of three.
“John and Abbie – party of 5! 🤍 Our sweet little lady made her arrival last month,” John-David, 36, and Abbie, 33, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, February 28, sharing family photos with all three kids. “We’re completely smitten and soaking in all the newborn snuggles!”
While the Counting On couple didn’t immediately share their new baby’s name, they had the support his family family.
“Sending loads of love and congrats to my brother and sister-in-law on the arrival of the brand-new bundle of joy,” John-David’s twin, Jana Duggar, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday. (Jana, 36, gave birth to son Archie in December 2025, one month before her twin’s third baby arrived.)

John-David and Abbie have been married since November 2018. The couple previously welcomed daughter Grace in January 2020 and son Charlie in September 2022.
Three years later, the pair announced that they were expecting their third baby.
“We’ve been keeping a little secret … 🤭🤗,” they captioned their September 2025 Instagram post. “Baby #3 arriving in early 2026!!!”
In the accompanying maternity photos, the family held large balloons: Grace with the number one, Charlie with two and John-David and Abbie with three, which had sonogram images attached to it. Abbie also cradled her baby bump as she posed alongside her husband and kids.
Later that month, Abbie revealed that she was struggling with hyperemesis, a severe form of pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting that can lead to additional complications.
“A little over halfway!” she captioned Instagram photos showing off her bump as she stood on the beach. “We had a pretty rough go of it the first half and I am so thankful to be feeling much more like myself again! God is good! #pregnant #hyperemesis.”

In October 2025, John-David and Abbie held a sex reveal with his twin sister, Jana Duggar, who announced in August 2025 that she was expecting her and husband Stephen Wissmann’s first baby. In a YouTube video posted on Jana’s page, John-David and Abbie learned they were having a girl, while Jana discovered she was pregnant with a boy.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be adding a little 🎀GIRL🎀 to our family!!!” John-David and Abbie wrote in a joint Instagram post in November 2025. “Sharing this special day with Jana and Stephen will always be such a treasured memory. And in true twin fashion … the girl twin is having a boy and the boy twin is having a girl! 💗💙.”
Prior to their third baby’s arrival, John-David and Abbie marked their seventh wedding anniversary in November 2025.
“We celebrated 7 years of marriage this week! 🥂,” the caption of their Instagram post read. “I am so blessed to be married to my best friend who loves me so tenderly, cares for me so gently, waits for me so patiently and serves so selflessly! God has been so good and kind to us! 🥹.”

Although John-David and Abbie have plenty of parenting experience under their belts at this point, the duo opened up exclusively to Us Weekly in January 2020 about adapting to their new roles after daughter Grace’s birth.
“We are settling into our new routine of life, which has included a few long nights as Gracie is still trying to figure out the difference between day and night,” they said at the time. “Mom and baby are both doing well, and we are very much in love with her!”
They added, “It’s also been so nice to have good advice and help from our families. We are grateful for all the support they’ve shown us in this new and wonderful phase of our life.”
John-David is the third eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children. The family notably starred on the TLC reality series 19 Kids and Counting from 2008 to 2015 and Counting On from 2015 to 2020.
