
Stephane Roy has been confirmed as winner of the 2026 Can-Am 30 sled dog race, Can-Am Vice President Sarah Brooks said Saturday evening.
Roy finished the race in 2 hours, 7 minutes and 24 seconds, according to the official Can-Am results.
The win comes after Roy finished in second place in 2023 and 2025.
Wyatt Marquis and Rocky Berube finished in second and third place, respectively. Marquis had an overall time of 2:13:00 and Rocky Berube was third with a time of 2:41:42.
Roy, 35, hails from Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick. He wrote in his profile on the Can-Am website that he started dog sledding at age 5 and has been involved in the sport ever since. He plans to continue racing throughout Canada.
Last year, he ranked fourth in the Pedigree Stage Stop Race.
