Brandi Glanville got real about how much money she spent before figuring out her breast implants were making her sick, claiming ex-husband Eddie Cibrian didn’t “support” her along the way.
“They were making me sick,” Glanville, 53, said of her implants, which were about 20 years old, during the Thursday, February 26, episode of the “I Do, Part 2” podcast.
She revealed, “I went to 21 doctors. I’m telling you, [it cost] $200,000. I had insurance but the people at my insurance, Kaiser let’s just say, sucks.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum recalled “paying out of pocket to see specialists, infectious disease doctors, rheumatologists,” adding, “Every doctor you can think of, I saw.”
Brandi Glanville Details How Her 2 Sons Have Handled Her Health Issues
Throughout her struggles, Glanville said her mammograms were “fine,” so it wasn’t something the doctors thought could be the root of her issues.
“It came on overnight. I have weird lumps in my neck. … I still have them,” Glanville said of her onset of symptoms. “I can’t explain the brain fog. The fatigue.”
She noted that although all of her symptoms were on her left side, doctors later found through a sonogram that her right breast had “ruptured” and had “leaks” that resulted in “silicone in both my lymph nodes.”
Now that Glanville has taken out her implants, she feels like a whole new woman.

“I’m two weeks out right now, but the first week, I was, like, up,” she shared. “I was actually doing too much because I was so excited to be moving.”
While Glanville feels much better after her surgery, she confessed she’s been doing it alone.
“My sons have been, they’re 18 and 22, so they’re grown,” she said, referring to her and Cibrian’s boys, Mason and Jake.
When asked whether Cibrian, 52, who is now married to LeAnn Rimes, came to “support” her at all, she said, “No.”

“He has not [shown support],” Glanville claimed. “But we are getting along and that’s all I can ask for. We are together on holidays.”
She noted, “I missed a few because I was ill and it sucked to not be with my boys. I literally would lay in bed for four days straight.”
Glanville also alleged that Rimes, 43, hasn’t exactly jumped in to help amid her health journey. (Glanville and Cibrian split in August 2009 after he was caught having an affair with Rimes, whom he later married in April 2011.)
“I mean, they have me over for the holidays,” Glanville said after making a face when Rimes’ name was brought up. “I talked to her at Christmas a little bit, but I hadn’t told anyone about my breasts yet.”

The former reality star revealed that her sons, however, did tell Rimes about the breast implants so the musician did bring it up in conversation.
“She’s like, ‘So it’s your breast implants?’ I’m like, ‘No,’ and I looked at Mason and he’s like, ‘What, she got it out of me,’” Glanville said with a laugh, joking she will “never” tell him anything again.
In addition to struggling to discover what was truly wrong with her — Glanville also had a face parasite, which she now thinks could’ve been a result of her breast implants rupturing and infecting her body — she said her confidence has taken a hit.
“I haven’t had sex in three years, the whole time I’ve been sick, because I lost my confidence,” Glanville said on the podcast. “I feel like I lost everything at once. I lost my job. I lost my reputation. I lost my looks.”
She called the past few years “dark times,” adding she “isolated” herself from everyone but her sons.
“I’m still working on my confidence. It’s just a lot of — it seems silly — but as women, when you look good, you feel good,” Glanville continued.
